My Yoga Journey for a Healthy Mind, Body and Soul

While volunteering at Yoga Journal Conference I discovered many excellent teachers and my love for Jade Yoga mats. This mat is an absolute favorite. It's super light for travel, not slippery, even when wet, (tested it in the rain). It's also longer than most and they have an extra long and wide size. Jade Yoga also plants a tree with each purchase. Eco Love! <3

Baron Baptise - 40 Days to Personal Revolution - This book was used by one of my first serious teachers, introduced as a 40 day self-practice. It remains a great resource whereas it does an excellent job of simply describing and showing poses. It's fun to share with those who are new and open to yoga.

Sivanada Yoga - A close family friend introduced me to this wonderland. It is my sankalpa and very close to my heart. Sivanada is also where I studied the I-rest meditations offered above.

Rich Gonshak - (Chi Yoga Shack) - Is a profound and playful teacher/owner of Shiva Shack who loves many of the same poses I love. Rich is funny and informative with virtual classes making practice an option from anywhere.

Jonathan Villacress - (Yoga on the Beach Chicago) - Hosted fun local vendor events after yoga, building community. Jonathan makes yoga fun and challenging.

Daniel Rama Yoga (Becoming Balance) - A lucky YouTube find once I was inspired to have a self-practice after my third Sivanada Yoga Retreat. I do my best to make time for this practice, it’s magical.

Soon you'll have access to yoga video content that will inspire you to practice and share! :)

In the meantime, I recommend downloading my favorite guru Sadhguru app. for daily quotes and inspiration. Enjoy the journey!
